Marty Loken

Marty is a long time resident of the Pacific Northwest, an early member of the Pocket Yachters, and is an experienced boat restorer and builder.

His current project, and future pocket yacht is Mouse, a lapstrake gunter yawl, 14’ on deck and 20’ overall including bowsprit and boomkin. Beam of 6,’ with centerboard and kick-up rudder; room for two adults to sleep on the floorboards. New construction, half finished, design based on beach boats of Great Britain, circa mid- to late 1800’s.
